Juan grew up in Loreto, and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Juan, and his wife Gizzel, have two children, Luis and Raquel.
Now with up to 6 boats, maintaining the two flagship boats Mijito and Mijita. Sport fishing in Loreto has never been better.
Growing up on the water
Juan has been fishing these waters since he was just a little boy, becoming familiar with the fish migration patterns and seasonal fluctuations.
The primitive paintings of Sierra de San Francisco
Sierra de San Francisco, home to a fascinating collection of Aboriginal cave paintings dating back approximately one thousand or 1,500 years. The murals found there have been designated for special protection by UNESCO.
Since these cave painting are protected, the Mexican government restricts the people they allow to tour the facility. We are fortunate that Juan is one of the few tour operators that have been granted approval to visit these incredible paintings.
