If you are really adventurous, you can also visit the the paintings found in the Sierra de San Francisco.  These paintings are considered among the best examples of cave paintings and show dozens of human representations in black and ochre, in a variety of positions and wielding weapons. 

Visiting these paintings are not open to the public and require securing a special license from an authorized tour guide.  Our boat captain, Juan Tirado is one of the few tour operators that have been granted access to this fantastic collection of Aboriginal cave paintings.
