I have been fishing with Juan now for 5 years. I travel to Cabo and Loreto 6 times a year and always look forward to fishing with Juan. He is a wonderful person and an expert angler and guide. I've written articles for professional fishing magazines and he exemplifies everything you look for in a guide. He has 2 boats, Mijito and Mijita. My favorite is Mijito. We have caught a lot of fish off that panga. 

Juan is a family man and has an excellent grasp of English and Spanish. He is well respected by all and dedicated to an outstanding experience. 

My time is very valuable to me and I assure you that the time I spend with Juan on his boat is some of the best days of fishing I have had over the past 6 years. I fish professionally and am always in search of the best bite. Juan makes it a point to make every trip a great trip.

I highly recommend visiting Loreto and spending time on the water with this fantastic human being!

Plan ahead and keep good communication with him because he is getting very busy. It's tough being the Best!!!

Captain Juan is outstanding!! Put us on the fish and kept them coming, with multiple double hook-ups. We had small kids that he was totally cool and interactive with them.

Juan is....the best! This guy is fishy and knows the local waters, how to be the boat that comes back with fish when others don't! Juan is an incredible guide, has all the local knowledge and knows the waters around Loreto like no one else. Juan can help you get your fish smoked which is super delicious! I am, just as other members of my family and friends are, repeat customers to Juan. I would rebook my trip if I couldn't book Juan and had to go out on a different boat. Juan is calm, trustworthy, funny and he is THE CAPTAIN to use if you want to go out on his boat and come back with a great adventure and lots of fish! Juan's english is very good and he's patient and will help you learn some Spanish words too! Note: June and July are very hot in Loreto, but the dorado fishing is at its best....don't hesitate to go in the summer if this is your fish of choice!)
